Madrid Gastro Shopping – Barrio de Salamanca

The Association of Traders Barrio de Salamanca Madrid was established in 2007, is a non-profit entity under Article 22 of the Spanish Constitution, which is governed by the Organic Law 1/2002 of March 22, regulating the right of association and concordant rules and those that are applicable at all times and by the current Statutes.

It is registered in the Registry of Associations of the Community of Madrid and is a member of Madrid Foro Internacional.

Thanks to its existence and constant work, it has achieved a close relationship and recognition with the institutions, the City Council and the Community of Madrid. It brings together some of the most important national and international companies in the world and is a showcase for our city abroad.

Strategic Objectives of our Association

Commercial revitalization of Barrio Salamanca: Commercial and promotional activities such as: Spring and Christmas Flower Markets with Vogue, Madrid Inside Art and Design (MIAD), Rincones Hispanos, Christmas Market in Plaza de Colon, Barrio Salamanca Association Activities, among others.
We are a quality tour operator of shopping and good food and we have the collaboration of Tourespaña, Community of Madrid and City Hall: presstrips, famtrips, reverse days...

2. To defend the interests of the merchants before the institutions
Thanks to the good direct relations with the City Council and the Community of Madrid.

3. To take care of the image that reflects the area. At all levels,
whether it is cleanliness, order, security (in constant contact with senior officers of the National and Municipal Police of the Salamanca neighborhood).
