PEACE MARKET

This traditional neighborhood market, located in El Barrio de Salamanca, has three entrances, one on Ayala Street (the main one), another on Lagasca and the last one on Claudio Coello. It was inaugurated in 1882 and one of its peculiarities is that it was built with iron material, it is one of the most popular markets in the district and one of the most emblematic of the city. Inside, the classic iron structure of the old municipal markets and the modern and avant-garde design of its establishments have been perfectly integrated, resulting in a cozy and welcoming space where you can find everything from fresh products for daily shopping to the most select delicacies. It also has an interesting selection of small restaurants and bars capable of satisfying the most demanding palate.
